....but the bar is good for the evening social, especially if the w****** is pants.
Again wouldn't bother me.
In the summer, I don't think the luxury of an indoor bar is important.
And with enough notice, people could bring their own brekkie.
i wont be going but no bar wouldnt put me off in the summer. no cozy warm bar in chilly october would put me off
We just need to ensure @poptop2 is there and there will be enough room for everyone!!!
ok i'll speak to jackie bear with me as i don't want some of the "regulars" to miss out.
i'll give options - a date with no/limited facilities or the one i list above where it's all open.
Nope. The bar and breakfast are great, but if the choice was no go, or no bar, I'd go for no bar every time!
I think I can come tho I'm off to Beautiful Days festival the following week so may not be given a pass out 2 weekends running!
Well we always used to manage to go camping without a bar or breakfast in a house.
In the past we've had humongous fires, not in the "small fire" corner, over in the opposite one. I think we've been banned from letting off fireworks though.
I think that followed the horse meets barbed wire incident!
Ok i've text Jack will see how it goes, next one i think may be 25th one if our maths are right so maybe a nod to the "old days" would work.
Im up for the next Techenders, the proposed dates work for me; because itll only be my second one Im not gonna comment on bar/breakfast but did enjoy the bar.
Im sure Lowie would come over too!
I think we are going to Skeg Vegas this year too. The breakfast is nice but not essential. I have bar experience (a few years ago) if it helps.
Breakfast in the house was a nice touch but we are 'camping' after all. Could we lay our hands on three or four of those gazebo's like @hailfrank used to bring to events? Speaking personally not having a bar/breakfast wouldn't be a deal breaker for a September meet.
i think you're right bob, we like having breakfast but when it isn't there we enjoy the cooking, also we don't go to the bar so it makes no odds to me.
Im not fussed about the bar or breakfast
11-13 sep or 25-27 sep is good for me. And if Eddie didn't mind I could possibly do breakfasts
Im sure one would head down that way it may even have a Bush Pig with it
Not at all. Wonder if we could stump for a large tent or similar as a main meeting point social area?
