    I want to come but going to dubs in wonderland the week before and it’s the anchors birthday on the 27th and she said something about work and seeing the kids on her birthday. Am not happy been stamping my feet for at least a week you would think should would have noticed by now.

    Found some others on a previous list     - this is what happens when people get excited, jump the gun & start a list before Doug's 'proper' list

    Yep will be there as The Specials are playing Leicester on the Wednesday night :)

    ...….Potential job list would be fitting new dizzy, front mud flaps, drilling front panel for aerial (eek!), getting seats out and putting rubber mats underneath, picking @Lasty 's brain for stretchy carpet on bulkheads, bunging an extra solar panel on the roof. All, some, or none of the above depending on Doombar consumption and other more interesting things going on! :D

    I was going to offer to be chauffer for the specials, I also have a load of spare stretchy grey carpet. Alas, even if miracles do happen I would be committed to doing hospital radio on the Thursday so wouldn't turn up till Friday.

    I 'might' be doing my very own first solo spot this Thursday!!! Eeekkkkkk it'll be the 7-8pm request hour. I'll also have to go and collect requests from patients on the wards beforehand.

    The last time my Mum was in hospital (as in never made it out) she was one or two marbles short shall we say, but put in a request that really hit the spot when it came up a couple of hours later ..... So more power to you sir. 'Tis a good thing you do :hattip:
