I still reckon - phone order and taxi to deliver. Between all the orders a taxi would be a minimal cost on top.

  10. I'm coming! Still have a propex to fit (only had it about 5 years) and need to sort out wiring bits. May have a drink and a snooze too. Possibly food too.

Ah yes, I was thinking of putting a call out to see if anyone with the requisite propex-fitting skills might be possibly bribed with beers etc to lend a hand fitting mine too! I believe gadgets for cutting holes in floors may well be required, and I'm pretty sure I don't have anything like that.... so if anyone feels up to the task, has equipment, and wants to let me know their favourite alcoholic form of payment, I will be adding this to my potential to-do list...

  12. i also need a LOT of guidance, though i'm not sure i could deal with cutting holes into the bus, so i may watch as you do yours first :D

I've just fitted mine so have the required hole saws if you want me to bring them and a charged battery drill?

That would be fab if you don't mind! I've not had a chance to rummage in the garage and see whether I've got the right sizes, so if you can bring yours then at least I know I'm sorted for the cutting part
(Just need the copper pipe, rubber hose, a coupe of extra connectors and one of those nice neat isolator tap thingies so I can divert gas to all the different places)
Woo hoo, I love it when a plan comes together

I've got plenty of copper pipe..it came in the kit but I didn't use it, just rubber pipe straight to the propex..I'll bring the pipe if you need it though?

Again, if you are not using the copper with yours that would be excellent thank you .... I just want a short length to get it straight out from the propex under the bed through into the gas bottle cupboard next door, then I'll go rubber.
The system in place at the mo has a mixture of rubber and copper, numerous joints, splitters and isolation taps going to oven, hob, and fridge.... fitting a 4th outlet for the propex might be a good opportunity to neaten it all up with less joins - so a few spare feet of copper just in case would be very helpful.
Cheers @Dazza, a doombar coming your way on the weekend
