Well, with his "sausage eating" escapades and all that........................................!
Popped over yesterday great to have a chinwag..
Well done to all who endured the weather this weekend,
and who still got stuff done,
Mike seemed to work non stop..
Had a poor wee bairn from Bristol ,
at the bar asking for a nice soft drink,
Recommended him a J20..
It turned out a bit strong for him..
Roll on April...
Arrived home safely to a very wet west London. Was great to see people if only for a brief time. Hope to stay longer next time.

I’ve become confused by the two threads!
@Mrs Busmonkey is that you in the Levellers t-shirt? I don’t think my eyes are working properly yet!! I’m off to see them in Nottingham in November
Thank you to Flakey for taking temporary care of my fridge from Malc. Sorry I had to rush and hardly spoke to anyone, I was late for an errand of mercy. Looking forward to April and being in my bus - you never know, it might be drivable by then!
yup that's @Ermintrude at Vicky farm..
Although some say it's her twin....
Not the monkster as she’s much much taller than mrs Dicky ( next to Doug) Has the date been confirmed now. It was only provisional last I heard. I will deffo be there if it’s on!
It was great to meet you and your bus and its T2D makeover.
I am going to start asking sarky questions on the T2D Instagram thread ... woo shiney bus... but did you remember to block off the servo pipe?
Maybe not. Truth will out without my help.
It was a good but smaller Techenders, I enjoyed it, and all the chat.
I am home now, the sun is shining and all my damp corners are drying out.
I managed nearly 23 mpg while driving slower than the trucks.
The reinstalled oil setup seems to not be leaking and it dropped the oil temperature 15 degrees C and the CHT was about 10 degrees colder too. That is relative to the figures on the way up. Some of the cool down may be the engine running in .
It has now completed 400 out of the 500 miles running in since last Saturday when the engine went in.
Problem is I find myself holding the steering wheel with one finger and daydreaming.
Good to see you briefly Mike. Noticed the running in sign in you rear window as I left!
Was the crate of Grolsch still in it or had @Flakey had it?
When were you there? Didnt see you!
I saw you coming and hid
I guessed as much!
Friday afternoon. Got there nice n early, bed already made up, beer chilled food in the cool box. Looking forward to a night at the pub with Dazza, just pulling into Eddie’s and got a call. Had to come back home to be a emergency minibus for Will’s rugby team. I was there a couple of hours.
Shame... didnt get there until late afternoon. Next time eh!
Hope so Chris!
Back from the quietest Techenders in recent history. What a cracker!
Yes the weather wasn't the best; but those who went all seemed to have a great time.
Good to see everyone again, and good to meet a few new people.
Well done all.
Agree with @Baysearcher , small but what a lovely weekend !!
Weather wasn`t as bad as predicted and the company was top notch with quite a bit of spannering going on despite on / off spitting - not really rain
Hats off to @mikedjames , serviced and sorted out the air leaks on @Marzydj `s van then spannering all day sorting out the remote oil cooler for his own spankin` new engine - top effort
Great to see everyone old and new .
April is just around the corner ...
