T4 15 Steels on a Late Bay

Discussion in 'Mech Tech' started by dogsndubs, Nov 18, 2011.

  1. Has anyone tried to fit or is currently running standard 15" T4 steel wheels on their van?

Is it do-able, are their any problems etc (apart from milling the centre bore to 70mm)

    Cheers

Did you just get them bored in the the end? Do they fit ok?

  3. I have had them milled out to 70mm but I haven't checked them yet. (I'm picking them up tomorrow morning).

I have a feeling that I may need to use spacers and extra long bolts but I know these are both available. ;)

  4. I think they've got something like a 50mm offset to them haven't they so will need 10 or 15mm spacers to stop them rubbing the inside of the arch/suspension.
Longer studs are a must too.

  6. 55mm offset on the 6" wide ones. Merc or audi rims fit easier without needing massive spacers.
