Hello All, I would be grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction for a sympathetic and competent welder in Jersey who can help get my restoration project back on track. The majority of the rust has been cut out resulting in a lack of a front panel and deformation panel up to the chassis members but there is also work needed on cross members and also on the sills on the drivers side. I have most of the parts needed already I just need to get an expert involved. Oh and the front wheel arches and near side rear wheel arch also need looking at (The roof of the van is extremely solid......), oh and the Battery tray on the O/S needs replacing. Any tips on anyone I can call would be gratefully received as I would really like to be able to use the van at some point this year before my wife plays her joker and says it is a project that will never be completed and it has to go. I think if I can just get the bottom of the A pillars sorted then these provide the reference points for the rest of the panels at the front. So I will probably start this week. Are Welders unsympathetic by nature?
