Swarfega

That swarfega orange above looks great value.
When I was a student I used a 50/50 mix of paraffin and washing up liquid.
Mix it up and it sets to a gel - just like the original swarfega.
Seems cheaper options are now available

Techs/Mechanics get their hands dirty so wash before

 

I find used coffee grounds are great for washing grease off hands.

 

I can’t usually get latex gloves to last more than 5 minutes, they always tear doing dirty jobs.

Please don't get anything with plastic chips or beads in.

I've brought that stuff and it's very good the chips are walnuts shell so it won't end up clogging fish guts like the plastic stuff
