I’ve got a Valor one similar to that There great at heating an awning. When I cavity waxed the rear of my van I put mine on the floor under my engineless engine bay to help the wax flow better. It did a great job but got so hot it melted the plastic that holds the insulation on the engine bay roof.
Was tempted to keepmit but dont think i will ever use it. Dont usually carry camping gas any more in van and even less likely to take heater and burner with me. That said i think the thing saved my life once on a prtuculrly cold windy night when i just couldnt get warm.
Good job the cavity wax wasn`t flamable then .... A neighbour died when he was Waxoyling his land rover and the lot just fireballed - nasty ... They are great awning heaters - when used as intended .
