Paltry excuse

 

The squirrel lived to see another day, bless her, she's really slowed down recently. Her critter chasing days are over

 

Same as The Queen Bitch, she's lucky to make it once around the block without a rest

 

The squirrel feeding stations are a great place to watch them, don't forget to take some nuts with you. They are very tame at the moment

Im too busy feeding the chickens would have been a poultry excuse!

Had two trips to the NW over the last week first one it took me 4 1/2 hours to get home and second 5 1/2 hours to get there. Im all motorwayed out! not going again for a wee while!

 

Btw the record from my house to Bolton was an hour and a quarter to put that into perspective!

 

Formby only another 45 mins from Bolton

 

We are very likely to be there

 

I would imagine that we will attend

 

I live in Southampton and have made the effort! took us 8 1/2 hrs on Saturday though normally 4hrs, traffic was horrendous.

Went in August and only saw 1 squirrel! And couldnt even get on the beach as was a really mental high spring tide.

 

I must admire your perseverence. (there may be another term for it though!).

 

Sounds like a good plan - not been to see the squirrels for a while.

 

Wowsers , squirrel tastic, loads of them today, and the beach was bloomin freeeezin
Never seen it so busy there though.

 

I know. It's great that the squirrels are back in amazing numbers since the pox outbreak nearly decimated them a few years ago.
We went along the beach on Christmas day about 3 years ago and saw some seals bobbing near the beach...
