  1. Any recommendations for a simple water stopper for over the slider! Mines getting, or gone past the point of being that useful really. It just about stops the worst of it but it’s all stretched and baggy and holds ponds of water which then drip through!!! It’s s big light duty really.

You've seen ours so many times! As you know its the nuts in the sunshine and awesome in the rain due to the way it deploys and adjusts.
We have all the bits located for a direct copy now so give me a buzz when youre back from festival land and we'll see if between us we cant cobble something together...

  5. Will do. Was looking at options for quick turnaround as back Monday, lakes Wednesday. Think I might take awning though now so I can keep my scooter in it and that will do the trick of keeping the rain out! Just need to finish off my Heath Robinson trailer on Tuesday to fit it on!

  6. We could do with one as well please. Ive already got some adjustable poles which may or not be suitable.

A cheap reinforced nylon tarp with one side folded over and glued with contact adhesive to allow a pole through does the trick and is cheap as chips - not pretty but it works

I prefer the dome type with crossed stiffeners which NLA VW sell for example. Doesnt fill up with rain, holds up with wind up to a strongish breeze.
I use that with a tall windbreak.

  14. Hi, i've been looking at canopys for our T2. My wife has found a new entheusiasm for sewing during this lockdown. Any tips on how you made yours? would love to have a crack at making one!

Also, I have seen the pole and clip or figure of 8 attachments, any tips on what is better/more secure?

    Thanks!

Pole and clips are more secure.
I've a piece of waterproof fabric with a tube created for pole by folding over and stitching.
Couple of poles from an old awning, nylon cord for quy ropes and you're done.
Made it last year, so regret not used it but did a trial with it wedged in garage guttering.
