  2. No worries I just didn’t want to take credit for mikes efforts
He did a lot of helping people that weekend after me just having an initial look for them.

  4. What type of brush did you use when you did this
Was it an abrasive brush or were you just cleaning the paint?

  5. Genius! And I suppose any electric drill extension with brush bits would work. Nice. Gonna try this.

It was one of these. Abrasive polishing wheel. I was just experimenting so used a fairly soft one. Was cleaning up easily but would’ve equally taken paint off if I wasn’t careful.
So either side of that and you could take paint off or just clean it up

I was just looking at those today and thought they maybe just the ticket
    Little scotchbrite spinning pads

I was a little worried that they would fall apart really quickly
How did they hold up during use?

Id also need to get my hands on a bit of that pipe without going in a shop

  10. They’re pretty good actually. Don’t tend to fall apart but depending on how hard you use them you’ll get through quite a few, so go for a mixed bag of 50.

It all comes down to the pipe though raid a neighbour’s plumbing if necessary.

I’ll hopefully get round to tackling the vents next month.
