  3. 02 reg approx 80,000 miles. Complete car with engine in. The car was running before problems with gearbox. No MOT but with new gearbox could be put back on road with very little work. Good tyres and no problems with bodywork..Send me PM if you need any more info.Robert

What do you expect for £350?

Irrelevant when the ad states 80k

  9. In the ad it states 80k and for an MOT failure or one with very short MOT £350 is still fairly strong money. But an Engine with 200k on is worth much less in my humble opinion.

Someone will pay 350 for it that wants to do a conversion.

Yes, but the friend got mixed up with another car that he has – and if it’s 72devon it might be tested and in working order.:)

  11. It seems that I owe members an apology. I put the Subaru on the forum for sale in good faith. I was told that the car had failed MOT on minor faults and that it had done 80000 miles. I didn’t check the info with DVLA site. A couple of you checked the DVLA site and it turns out that the car has done 200000 miles and has failed MOT on some serious faults. I was trying to sell this car in good faith on his behalf. I have since had strong words with him and told him where to stick the Subaru. It was not my intention to mislead members and again I offer my apologies.I did hear the engine running and it sounded healthy with no strange noises but thats beside the point.Robert
