Subaru conversion

Hi All do any of you good people no of a Subaru conversion thread any where the conversions been done for 5 years by the previous owner would like to get the cooling better and shorten the sump just after some ideas. Cheers

What engine are you running?

If you're using an ej20 then RJES or fellows kit is usually working fine
If you're using an ej25 you may want to look at this: http://thelatebay.com/index.php?threads/ej25.62169/
If you're using a turbo engine. I guess you'll find soe answer on vwkd.

Thanks for your reply I am running a ej22 engine with the stock sump which is stopping me putting my drop spindles on As it hangs far to low. The radiator is sitting in front of the engine just below the engine boot lid I don't have massive trouble with over heating it's just a night mare to get any good access to the engine and I am wanting to do a major service.

 

Just had a look at your thread mate some real helpful pics thanks for sharing them give yourself a massive pat on the back a cracking job.

 

Think I'm 99% that I'm going to give it to fellows in the spring to put in an ej20, uprated clutch and exchange or rebuild my existing 3 rib. The cost is big but I'm going to try not to think about it but look forward to going up hills... can't find any bad feedback anywhere on their conversion anyone have any experiences....?
