Its the little things I have done on this that make me happy. My dash has an EGR and. CAT light as it's American and they ahf a warning light for when they needed cleaning or replacing. I have used them for my immobiliser light and check engine light. CAT now means immobiliser, as in cat 1 immobiliser. Flashes when ignition is off.(theft deterrent) And EGR now means engine. Close enough for me to know at least. Happy me. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
The devil is in the detail, It all looks epic, do you have bleed valves on the coolant system? is there such a thing as an air separator suitable for automotive use?
Brilliant! T25's are notorious for air locks so that should help massively. Awesome work BTW, loving the dash tell tales especially.
ITS DONE, AIRLOCKS FINALLY BURPED OUT. BEEN FOR TWO SHORT 8 MILE TEST DRIVES AND TEMPS HOLD STEADY AT 80DEGREES. I will take it to work tomorrow (promised my boss it would be done by Friday) few bits and bobs to sort, like a bit of gobbo on the exhaust and greasing the cv's(will do that tonight) Yes @paulcalf you can have a ride, tbh its not rip your face off fast, but it cruises so nicely, and has a bit of go if i want it. effortless is how i would describe it.
oh and i've ordered one of these: http://busjunkies.com/trafficcox-short-shifter/ 200 quid delivered, hopefully it sorts out my few shift issues(mainly my gear lever being crap and worn
Whisper Quiet on tickover and a bit shouty when floored but overall not too bad. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
