Gotta be a few rare ones in this lot... FE0CC508-5597-4374-9389-97F591ACCDBB.jpeg 52AF5FE1-760A-41E3-B97B-26B91643E0EE.jpeg 2 quid for the box they were in...

  2. A friend of mine bought a box of old 'toot' at a auction for £30, nobody bid on it so its was the opening price and no reserve! At the bottom was two old lens prisms which he checked out and sold to a guy in USA for £900! So you never was in the bottom of a old box!

  3. It is good advice though - stop going to boot sales unless you are only selling.

  5. Is 'toot' slang for cocaine? At my age I am bit out of touch with the new street speak. In my age it was just 'purple hearts, black bombers, grass, acid, snuff, hash, uppers, downers, magic mushrooms, Hubba babba pipe, pain relief tabs from Tesco! Now gods knows whats in tabs from 'under the counter or dealers runners'. I lost a great friend of mine many years ago through drugs which has kept me on the safe path and just have the amber necta ect.

I bought 4 boxed Hella headlights at auction for £2.93 (including buyers commission), week before last.

Last one went yesterday on ebay, total profit £316.07.

Probably could have got more, but the boxes were a meter tall and I don't have the room.

I will never repeat a feat anywhere near this again, pure luck.
