  1. Top job mate. Scares the crap out of you the first time you roll it but dead easy after!
    I’d recommend resting the side on a set of old tyres to avoid damaging your guttering though.

  2. Yeah you’re right, it’s terrifying to do but I’m feeling more comfortable now. It’s so much fun to spin it around.

    Good idea. I have used four axle stands today to spread the weight but tyres sounds like a good shout! The axle stands worked fine but I don’t like the idea of metal on metal if i can avoid it!

  4. Managed to get some welding done on Sunday in between rain showers. Nothing too exciting but some small holes patched up.

    And then the welding gas ran out.

    That last piece is on the rear crossmember where the wiring loom passes through. It appears someone cut the crossmember and patched a plate back in, but the weld hadn’t penetrated so it pulled straight off. Going to have to re do my welds now too once the gas ran out. One step forwards two steps back.

  5. You need to clean up the area better and turn the power up more mate.
