  2. We are but we will be with poptopkitchen, open late on the Saturday. There is a lot going on this year as it is the 40th year of the show

  3. I noticed on the website they have 2 nights camping, which makes sense as its the bank holiday! We shall have a run out for the day I reckon but with it being close to our holidays I can't justify the £42 + day tickets to the show :(

  4. Saturday? Don't you mean Sunday fella? I was reading the camping page & there's strictly no access to the show ground until Sunday morning

  5. Nope defo Saturday

We have access as traders/caterers to our pitch, we will be open for food and drinks for the other traders setting up, they usually let the campers in for a wander round as well

  6. Is this the first year they've allowed camping Sunday night?

  7. not sure tbh, last year we arrived and setup on the saturday and we were allowed to stay sunday night as well as we have another event we do on the bank holiday. will be doing the same this year.

As for public camping not sure when it is from and to

  9. I can't think of a better way to spend my birthday unless it involved a brewery & a couple of....

  10. so that's why there's shag all there worth having by the time they let us plebs in:mad::D

  11. Tbh most traders aren't open on the Saturday just setting up and getting drunk

  12. on the thought of fleecing the unsuspecting proletariat the following morning, no doubt;)

I jest....Stanford's one of my favourite shows...usually a good turn out and plenty of traders

You can always camp at Ed's. There will be 200 splitties in the top field for their agm... Breakfast, evening meals...but nobody in the bottom field IIRC. :)

  16. The new camping field is carp compared to when you could camp in the hall grounds.....and seems to be pre book only....no pay on the gate ! Love the show, but think we will camp elsewhere.....

Adam and Amanda ( The Joycee's ) from Doncaster who you saw at Woodland Waters are camping Dazza, They go every year they love it, Iv'e been twice and that's enough for me, it's like ground hog day,It's probably the best show for really nice examples but to me it's same cars and vans within a mm of where they were the year before, Pipe and slippers brigade are out in force

Not sure if I can remember them mate
I know what you mean about the show itself but it's a good reason to get away from it all for a couple of days ...besides we need some VW tea towels and coasters :)

It's the only one I go to regularly and only marred by people's inability to not take their effin dogs.

It's too crowded for dogs with people not paying attention to where they are standing.

I'm a long way from being anti dog, but it's not a good place to take them...

  20. Going for the day with a picnic & the kids but leaving the yappy yapper at home! Oh and if you happen to be passing the California club stand give us a wave

I've been frequenting their forum which appears to be ran off the back of a suppliers website so not my kind of place but there is a lot of Cali info to be had from it tho which may or may not be useful only time will tell!

Basically I've blagged a pass for the Cali club area so we don't have to go back to the car park for our sandwiches
