Solar power battery maintainer

Anyone tried one of these solar battery maintainers for the winter period? just picked one up today ... After buying three batteries for my dubs earlier this spring!

Hope it works well for you. 6W's is not a lot to restore a battery. If it's topped up when you stop, the battery should be good over the "off season"

 

Mines in the garage so it won't work lol.

 

We had/have a 5w panel on the bay. The bay never had trouble starting. Its sat now for over 2 yrs so guessing it won't start now.

 

Yes, I suppose 5 years is technically more that 2 years...

 

Would one of these work in a council lock up? I want to keep my Cortina battery topped up 'cos I don't drive it much.
