Parallel I think although I am now not sure. Mine are both POS into a branch connector then down to controller then both neg into branch connector then down to controller, see my thread
Your "friend" would also have to upgrade his solar controller as 10A isn't enough to handle 200watts if solar panels
Still on my spending spree, two of these should be turning up on Tuesday. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/100W-Flex...552876?hash=item20dde25bec:g:9JoAAMXQVT9SzwEs I spoke with one of their technical guys, (called Igor ) and he reckons the panel junction box is accessible and once the covers off the cables are held in by screw terminals. So I can swop their cables for some 4mm stuff.
Best you get buying another panel then I'll meet you in the sunshine, and we can leave all the non solar powered buses in the shade.
Do you lot know how hard I am trying to stay with one panel and not get another. This thread is not helping at all.
i am ok at the minute as i have 2x50 watt panels but i am feeling another 100w coming along, maybe 2x 100watt........
My mate has a T5 California with the same 100w panel mine has and it runs his fridge very happily apparently
Depends how many amps your fridge pulls, if 8a like a westy one you'll need a bloody sunny day or a couple of 100w panels at a guess.
My fridge is electric only and I don't no how many amps it is. it's not a big fridge and I have a 110 AH battery
I'm working on more is better. You only get the full quoted supply under perfect conditions. When the panels get hot, i.e. full summer sun they don't produce as much and when the sun isn't directly above they don't produce as much and if even a little bit of the panel is shaded they don't produce as much. Cram as many on the roof as you can fit.
