9 gce o levels 1 cse A levels went a bit awry and I got 2 A level passes and a fail Got business and finance hnd and business B.Ed Plus my clever gas qualifications
I got 12 O Levels and four A levels, a 2.1 BA in English and Drama then an MA in English, both from the University of London, and a PGCE from Cambridge. I was definitely good at the school thing and my qualifications have meant that I have been able to pick and choose some very nice high-flying teaching roles, largely in the independent sector. I worked in business until I was 30, eventually in marketing/advertising for a major holiday company but I found being in an office ultimately boring so I went off to Cambridge to study education. Teaching has been a massive challenge at times and the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. I've had my share of depression and anxiety as a result but I'm still standing, just about, at the age of 51.
