Welly 1/24 scale microbus £10-15. Various shops. 10/10

Ok I'll point out the obvious fault with this model, it's a prototype.

That fault aside this really is one of the best out there other than the £30 Minichamp 1/32 scales models.

Attention to detail is excellent. l can't see Bburago doing this on their 1/24th scales but details like silver around the front indicators to me is attention to detail. Admittedly it is paint on the actual model and then the light stuck on top but it does make a difference. Other such nice touches are the sliding door that slides using the 3 runners just like on your Volkswagen. This gives way to the interior of the microbus in the 2-2-3 seat configuration. It's all pretty black in there but they have gone to the trouble of making the seats with that VW seat leatherette and the there is also attention to detail on the handbrake.

Welly as a company have excelled where many die cast model makers have failed. I've included pictures of their 1/18th Peugeot 504. I had a damp patch at the detailed touches they put into this one. Even the boot area is correct!!!!!

l have contacted Welly to ask, tell and inform them that they have made a fantastic model. I also slipped in that the Latebay was made for a longer period and that there should be a larger market for this model. Fingers crossed it helps.

Attention to detail: The strengthening triangle on the wheel arch and the shock absorber covers.

I'd like to see them do a 1/18th scale bus. I think it would be brilliant.

the blue bay with orange roof are worth proper money if it's the right one. it either needs the cast for filler flap on or off. can't remember which

  18. Gave my fish tank a good clean last week and got my bug working 😃

I bought this from a car boot a couple of years back for 20p, finally talked Mrs Robo into getting a tank again last year just so I could have the bug in it...
