The look of a dog who’s not quite grasped the notion of ‘you’ve had your dinner, now I’m going to have mine’

We had to have Miss Tilly euthanised yesterday.
She had had a couple of strokes and her body was shutting itself down. :(
Still, she lasted until she was 19 years old.

Oh no, that's such a good age, but always hard to say goodbye. My last dog had three strokes, and it was an 'easy' decision after the third - 'easy' to see the right choice, that is, but never 'easy'. :(
    Run free Miss Tilly

Sorry to read this Don. But as Scrooge says, it's great Miss Tilly got to 19. It's definitely not a nice feeling but better they don't suffer.

    * anyone want a 1 yr old cat, currently on heat? Can't get her neutered whilst in heat and she keeps coming on when the ops have been set (twice so far).

  6. Sorry to hear that Don :( she sounded like a wonderful companion.

  7. Sympathy. So hard to lose a dog.

  8. So Sorry don. Try to think of all the happy times and not yesterday so much. I found it helped if I was having a down moment to try to think of a time he did something naughty or silly.
