I am going to give my engine bay a tidy up - i am not happy with the soundproofing, breather pipes and messy electrics - but need some inspiration to see what others have done.

I was thinking of removing all the sound proofing and hardboard - spraying the lid and fixing all the pipes/cables with cleats. Then soundproof the inside of the van. It just looks tatty in there with hardboard hanging down and a bit of plastic bag above the fan with a hole melted in from the last owner! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I ran a multi core cable to the dash for all me gadgets, the pic was from when I 'd bolted the engine in and bugger all else.
Had my engine bay painted prior to the install, it's the only bit of my van with a decent bit of paint. The rest of my van is dog. I had the ply board type insulation baffle. It was shredded so I pulled it all out, and didn't bother putting anything back.
