I don’t like it when there covered over with excess thickness of paint.
I’m the same with seams that have been filled over.
I’ve managed to get the paint just right so it’s got the texture but doesn’t fill over the dimples.

I know it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things but it’s small things like this that give me a sense of satisfaction

totally agree with this comment , nothing better than looking back and say i done my self , as i said a long time ago a garage wouldn t give ye this level of detail unless it was an open ended cheque book lol keep up the good work and look after yourself

 

Top stuff, Para. Unfortunately, it won't stay like that once you're out and about . Those seam edges are the things that go (resto round 2)...the light crust tends to start there, unfortunately, unless they're sealed in some way.

To be fair he rallies it. Full rally spec. Prepping it for this weekend in a historic rally in near Bath. Fitting a Tow bar to the bus and usong it as the service vehicle. I'm going swimming with my kids!

That arch was replaced about ten years ago and hasent gone yet.
It’s full of cavity wax and undersealed on the rear aswell as the paint you see over the top.
Hopefully it will last a good while longer
Time will tell

 

Had a practice at cutting and polishing with some wet and dry, and my shiny new mirka mop. So glossy!! Going to give the rest of the paint more time to harden before I do that though.

Be careful on the edges and curves when you do the rest of the bus
The paint is always thinner in those places.
