That's a female cockroach, even better, she is giving birth. You can see the Ootheca at the back, it is full of baby cockroaches. I think its Polyzosteria viridissima, also known as the Alpine metalic cockroach. (Spot the entomologist...)

 

My cousin is one of them.

19.16 yesterday and 40*C.................. it's going to be a long hot summer.

 

I got stuck at some traffic lights last week by luton station and that exact configuration of two class 66 and six small tankers went past me. I thought at the time it looked really odd to have two huge locomotives pulling just a few tiny tankers. Made me wonder what’s in those tankers that’s so important that they have to be moved with a back up loco attached.
