I like the smell of Wright’s Coal Tar soap. Reminds me of bath night when we were kids.

It’s that “well-scrubbed” smell

 

When we were nobbut nippers, my Dad used to buy Cetrimide(?) - @bernjb56 will know - to wash our hair. Used to come in a big brown bottle from ICI and smelt like some kind of industrial solvent, but at least we didn't have nits

Vosene whiffed of disinfectant, as I recall.
