Saltwick bay Whitby

Just spent 16 days at Saltwick bay Whitby.
Lovely site with its own private beach and great for walking along the cliffs to Whitby for fish and chips - about 20 min.
It cost me £99 per week but this was per pitch and included free wi-fi - the site had its own shop and bar and family club on site and the showers and toilets were very clean and plenty of them.
Highly reccomend - I had a sea view pitch and it did get a little windy some nights.
The 2nd to last night an ambulance and the coast guard turned up as somebody had fallen over the cliffs - they were pronounced dead at the scene
Possibly a jumper as there are bunches of flowers tied to the fences all along the coast edge.

Ahhh mate that looks brilliant! I'd give pretty much anything for 16 days peace and quiet in a van on me tod.
