  1. Wow really looking forward to seeing this on the road. Cracking job.

  2. G'day catsaylor. thanks for dropping to have a look at what i hope to achieve with ECLECTIC. It's a holiday over here today we're celebrating the Queens Birthday so we have a public holiday. strange how we in the colonies have a day off for Her Majesty on a totally different date of official date. but who's to complain. It should be a nice day winter & it's going to be 23deg Celsius. So spend some time finishing off the engine cover put some pics up later on in the week. All the best

  4. G'day all. here are some pics of the front end sill have fit other disc hub assembly. The tubes are free to rotate in the end plates when i bolt it in I can lift it up or down to get the ride height then spot weld it then disassemble it to have it welded by the the tailshaft company. before i do that I looking at the possibility of making it adjustable but not using the usual method but plates welded to the tubes & a series of threaded holes in the plate that it would allow the tubes to pivot in the end plates.

this is the spacer plate to allow slide on the axle to cv joint because of the commodore IRS differential being wider

plenty of room for 4x4 tyres but the front will dictate the size

  9. G'day all. been a while other jobs on the home to do so now. Update time have to build headers for it as standard manifolds all come out to far mine are similar to MGB rovers. I just have to build collectors for them. So far there are 9 90deg bends so when finished the will 13 in total. I have the front end welded up so it's ready to go back in then starts the fun of setting up the daewoo steering & front differential.

  11. G'day paradox. thanks for dropping in things have been a bit slow due to the torn rotator cuff in right shoulder. but had to bite the bullet & do a bit of light stuff on IT nave front end welded up now so put it in this week then I can reassemble it to sort out the steering & differential mounts. I have to get the rack set up so as have no bump steer. I started sorting out the electric windows for the front doors using 3series BMW will post some progress pics of the 1st 1 tomorrow

  13. G'day all. I have been working on power windows for front doors using 3 series BMW retrofit rears. they use the same worm drive cable set up as the bay. here are 2 videos to ponder. I saw the set up on a thread on The Samba forum

  15. You should start making them as kits, not seen any electric window kits for vans

  16. Nice work by the way :)

  17. g'day all. Buddy Hawks thanks for dropping in. i have advertised the kit on kombi club forum here in OZ so see what comes of it. My biggest problem is i like to share easy stuff for our community so the hobbie doesn't cost an arm & a leg. especially for battlers so it cheap & doable.
