Route 67 lands end to John I groats 2016 1st August start

This is a trip I did last year and had the time of my life wrongly did half of it and then went off on our own but we made so many great freinds it's a great way of seeing the uk and then having a road trip on way home of ur own!! There is a website allso big Facebook page I'm actually organising the route this year and it's simple u book the site on the days u wish to be in the convoy and we all follow each other / stop for fuel / carvery sat certain times no one gets left behind !!!!!
All the kids get on at every site ect as we all have kids so there's no crazy parties ect some have dogs allso !
All monies raised goes to crisis (homeless) stickers are £1.50 and all we ask is £15 per vehicle all to crisis !!
I made loads of pals last year my only regret last year was starting half way !!

@1973daisey looks great, nice one for organising the route for this year.
We happen to be heading from Sheffield to Scotland when the McRoute is taking place, but we are heading west
I'll see if we can join any of the Land’s End to John O’Groats route, the misses is a teacher so she may be put off by the kids!

I'm hoping @theBusmonkey will be organising the foreign equivalent of this at some point. A sort of moving european tour crossed with a bit of techenders chucked in if anyone breaksdown. Euroenders?

didnt know anything about it until we came across you in Bude !!!. gutted struggling for this year but will see where you are and try and tag along halfway.

Myself and Paul have called and emailed but no joy I shall find another I'm hanging back a bit untill next weeks route is out the way

 

You think they would reply even if it's with a no strange some people. Must say I'm not envious of all the grief you've got. We can always camp in Sainsburys lol if needed . I'll keep an eye out. Thanks

It was totally awesome I thought the driving would get to much but just as ur getting fed up there's a campsite/party or a pit stop for a carvery

 

Iv spoken to a few of u guys that are joining in on this now thanks for all ur help and support the t-shirts and stickers are now ready to order have started posting these allready if u wish to contact me via here I'm allways contactable

Only 3 weeks left now guys were allso picking up and meeting folks on the way down to lands end on the sat morning let me no if u wish to meet us we can stop off at any services

Looks great, I heard there were some right dodgy characters on the run last year (I think they came from around the Liverpool way )

 

We loved last year and would have liked to do it again but work and other plans mean we can't good luck to all the lejog ers. We'll be with you in spirit x

 

I've not heard of this one before, looks great, I'm gutted though to say we're heading down from Scotland to Newquay on 24th July and aren't traveling back up until Thursday 4th Aug, would have been great to have timed the return journey with this event but we've already got everything booked will defo keep an eye out for this passing while we're down there and try to get dates to match up next year.

We'll defo try to catch this on the way past on the Monday and follow it up to Bude, will be great to see so many vans together Any idea of what sort of time it will depart or even be passing Newquay area? Just trying to figure the best way of joining the convoy to Bude.

 

Feel free to pick up the route on the way home there is 4/5 not meeting us untill Cumbria ect joys of this is u book what u can do

Yeah I would love to but you'll be at John O'Groats before we're past Birmingham Like I say we'll defo try to find a way of joining you at some point on the way to Bude just to follow the convoy up there for the day. If this runs again next year we'll defo look out for it and try to fit it in with our summer trip. Is there a facebook page for it?
