To me this looks like a bit of a stylish design rather than anything else, but which do people prefer? http://www.flickr.com/photos/55201021@N07/8048930152# http://www.flickr.com/photos/36262594@N06/7957663970# Does anyone on here have rope on their bumpers? and any other images would be great to see Thanks
Boom.... I don't think it's a bad thing to have incase of Emergency. I would like to think i'd never need to use it but better safe than sorry. :supsbrew:
How about some rusty chain and an anchor - you never know when you'll need an anchor with the recent bad weather...
The bus is going to be 40 in a few months, touch wood won't need it. But IMO it's best to be safe & keep one around just incase. Obviously i'll try and make it look "cool" somehow!
This place is good 'cool' rope http://www.ropelocker.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=6 made the kids an old fashioned swing from some of the bigger stuff
nice one Oscar & BayBirmingham I guess you have had a little rain over the past few weeks then! I get the feeling noone likes to be safe incase of emergency?!?! :
No, we're taking the Mick because you want it purely to look Jason Kewl but you're pretending it's a safety feature. Get some of that cheap blue string builders use and we might believe you.
Is rope on a bumper really a cool addition to a Vw??? I could think of many more accessories i'd class as cool but I will take your word for it chaps!! Get me the builders string!!
If its for emergencies you'll be better off with this. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_164972_langId_-1_categoryId_165551
Cut the rope into little strips and glue them on. In an emergency just pull them off and tie together. Simples! )
I reckonise that bumper para i had one like that and sold it to someone with a bay but it was before i joined here!
