The torque peeked at 76.3 but on other run it was 80.9 what ever this mean ??

In a big heavy bus thats going to be used on the road the torque figure is more important than bhp

Your torque peaks at 3320 rpm which means your dropping off well before max rpm

 

Is this y he said my throttle pedal won't open the carbs fully ?? It's got to much movement in it so gonna modify it to take away movement then he said May get a tiny bit more !!

Your max rpm was 4685 so the torque has dropped off early
Even when your throttle opens fully you wont make any more torque but you will be able to rev higher

 

Oh I see now !! I'm learning I don't rev high anyways just want it to her me to the sea side and some camp sites with a few weddings for spending money's !!

 

Like i said im not sure whats normally expected from a type 4
@Paul Weeding will be able to let you know if its normal for it to drop off that early

 

Them 1700 's can rev to 5400

 

My bus engine when i build it will drive like a diesel with loads of pull low down on the revs but max out at just over 4500 rpm
Perfect for a bus in my mind

 

I'm just sorting the fast pedal out to sort this out

 

Do you know what rpm max torque is achieved in a stock one LHU?

 

That's what he told me it's set up low revs to get up hills he said if this makes sence but I just drive it para and beg u guys for help when I brake it

 

Drivability is better than all out high rpm power on a heavy road going vehicle

Dont knock yourself dude your learning fast give it a year and you will be helping others out
