just home from a wee trip to Pendine in South Wales. determined to sta away from the motorways, we done all bar 40 miles on A and B class roads.. Welsh roads are a hoot .. reduced speed limits just befor big uphill gradients and single tack with grass up the middle .. lol

went from Forfar , Cupar Angus, Perth, Edinburgh, Peebles, Cumbria and the lakes, into Wales and through Snowdonia, to Portmeirion, then over to Dolgellau for the mach loop, back to the coast Fishguard, Tenby and more of the coast to Pendine .. Then up through the middle of wales to Chester and cheshire oaks and forward to Yorkshire and the Yorkshire dales before heading through Yorkshire to the pennines over the top and on to hadrian's wall and forward to jedburgh, edinburgh perth scone and home .. 1200 miles .. 2 broken repro door glass winder handles and that was the sum total of failures ... Van never missed a beat and took on the climbs in its stride.. :)

Love the roads with the grass growing in the middle....dual carriageways for the locals!

Glad you are back in love with the van again; it would've been such a shame to see it go after all the hard work you put into the resto.
    Enjoy the adventures :)

Sounds excellent - we've gone from Notts to Dent, on to Seahouses (we are here till Thursday) then down to Runswick Bay then back home.
Having a cracking time, it's rained ooop Norrrff but you know what it could be worse. Chelle' cousins wife is in hospital with leukaemia & as it stands will be there for around six months.

The point is bloody enjoy life as you do not know what awaits. Kay didn't, not two weeks before she was admitted to hospital we was out in Matlock having a great night.
