RHS repair behind the front wheel

  1. When you spend £5000 on a LB camper you don't get the bottom 3 or 4 inches needed to work out the reference points and if you have never owned one before there is a bit of trial and error - okay error then..

    Also I guess if you want it to align theres a lot of setting time and not a lot of welding time by comparison.

    I think I set the inner sills in the wrong place although the ends matched and the middle sill slotted nicely into the recess in the base. Pic one is what I had. IMG_2610.JPG

    When I fitted the panel it didn't line up with the B post front. So a bit of heat and encouragement..

    and hey presto - alignment!

  2. Be careful cutting our all that metal in one go, things tend to shift. Better to do it panel by panel in my experience so you preserve the positioning of pillars etc. Looks like you're doing a thorough job :thumbsup:
