Retro awning

  1. Nice retro awning made by Raleigh. "Standard motor chalet" made in Lancs!!!

No curtains no inner bedroom but a good simple to put up drive away awning. I think all zips are ok. Couple of holes in one window.

£50 collected at TechEnders or my house in North Lincolnshire

If I get a chance I will make it fully erect with better pictures. (Said the actress to the bishop!)

  2. A couple of the bands could do with being replaced, there is a small J rail inside for curtains by the looks of it.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

  11. I've got a Raleigh Motochalet like this I want to sell and will bring to Techenders if anybody is interested. I used it in the 90's on my old bus but I think it's intended to couple up to a right hand drive sliding door and doesn't work properly on my current lhd bus. Excellent condition as far as I can tell, but I don't have the assembly instructions and last time was Glasto in 2005. Can anybody help with that?

    I don’t think I had instructions either.

I think I had similar too. Again no instructions but really?
Those big plastic windows will get wrinkly however carefully you fold it up. How they fold and bag them so neatly in the factory is a mystery (I think) to all awning owners of any type/make.

I’ve got one in the loft with a broken pole that’s on the one day list to fix

if I remember the poles are in sections held together with springs so is pretty easy to work out how it goes together.
