After many failed attempts at trying to find a place that has the rectangle auto transmission filter for my 76 VW Bus (Napa supposedly has 2 in a warehouse, but can’t get eyes on), I finally found a place that has them! Cobratransmission.com in Florida sells the rectangle filter for those of us that don’t have the round one. Great customer service and great pricing too! Fits perfect! Ben
Good find. I was curious about this as mine has the later round strainer. I can clean mine and put it back. Bentley says the early one like this isn't cleanable and must be replaced every 30,000 miles.
