On the weekends I work with a bloke who is a huge Rush fan, and he puts youtube on all the time and waxes lyrical about Neil Peart; guess we'll be watching and listening a lot tonight.
    :(
I was relatively late to the party, with a few singles purchased in the early 80s.
Came across this one as it was the flip side to 'Spirit of Radio'.
    RIP to an incredible drummer

Apparently he wrote that with cartoon characters in mind when everyone was thinking there was some deeper meaning involved

Alex and Geddy were talking about doing something not as Rush but Alex has arthritis so not sure it will happen.

Once you start watching the Rush official YouTube channel, how can you possibly turn it off again?! :(

I thought that Fly By Night was a fitting song to end on, and managed to tear myself away eventually

  7. RIP Neil, although never was much of a Rush fan.

I always liked my rock a bit more straightforward, but Geddy, Alex and Neil come across as such likeable fellas. First heard of them from Whistle Test, and loads of us ( all lads in fairness) were all talking about it next day. Never saw them live because I was never a fan as such, but now I wish I had :(

Mr Tatts you missed 3hours of proper music from 3 of the best.
1st saw em in '79 when they still had warm up acts. After that they played too long a set for anyone else to play

Working man - before Neil joined was probably more for you then

  11. Did Geddy Lee and David Beckham share a voice? Never heard them singing at the same time. We need to know.

Think Geddy is a better singer than Beckham was a footballer

  13. He was the only famous person I know of that shared the same surname as me. ☹️
