You could try asking windscreen fitting company's ...if they ever use something that is suitable or a company that come and actually do the job for you . There used to be a women that used to do truck windscreens ...as they are really tight on MOT 's on windscreen scratches, but haven't seen her advertising her business recently . Whereabouts are you ?
I went for the cover it up with a big sticker on the back window, not so practical on the screen mind
