  1. A new Lidl opened in town last week ,so I went for a browse .one of the things I came out with was a bag of Polish jam filled dumplings. So not being quite sure what to eat them with I had them with soup ,it didn't feel right somehow.
What's the the thing with these beasts from the east .
Are they a dessert or a side dish

    Pierogi?
I’m sure it’s not spelt like that but meat and potato ones are best!

  3. You had doughnuts and soup?

    Crazy times...

  4. I've tried Goblaki - rice and unspecified meat wrapped in cabbage leaves served in a tomato sauce. Piotr the polish chap who introduced (forced) them upon me said they were good hearty food - I don't think I could move for a week they sat so heavy...

  5. Sounds like pie to me
