  1. I used birch ply but painted it a pale blue as the ply lining elsewhere was a different colour

  2. ta, what thickness?

  3. 3mm I bought it from custom interiors I think

  4. ...on top of the extra photos.. any chance of a dimension.. how long are the sheets to fit nicely from one side to the other in the channels?.. need to do this too as not too impressed by pre-cut ply pannel for doors which are close but not right. Sure we can do close but not right ourselves cheaper

  5. WHS^^ also interested to know the dimensions for width of panels?

  6. Will measure this evening

  7. 51 inches wide, I would cut a little wider as it depends on the position of the j channel and trim accordingly. The best way to fit the roof is in both channels with it bending down then just pop it up - easy!

  13. Clamp it.. drill it rivet it, get 5ft square 3mm ply cut it, fit it bending down pop it up one side, then the other.. thin strip over the joint, screw to beam on roof.. jobs a good un [IMG][IMG][IMG]

  14. Looks great - this is what I was after for my bus. Where did you source your ply from? (Sorry for the constant Qs!)

  15. If you're North West I got ours from Beers Timber in Warrington

But can't see it on their fancy new website.. I just rang them and the got it in from another shop in Liverpool.
Its 1525 x 1525 3mm , front piece is profiled but back two are just square cut (well rectangles....)
