Yeah im thinking of fitting merc sprinter steels to mine to move up to 15 inch However if you go to high on the profile the front tyre can catch on the front outigger jacking point lip And if you go too wide on the width the tyres can catch the arches Finding a good quality all terrain tyre in the right profile and width is difficult i dont think ive come accross any all terrain tyre in 195 width The easiest would be to import bf goodrich ats from the states in the correct size to fit stock bus wheels but i cant imagine that being cheap in the slightest
Yeah the rumble true mud tyres make is awfull and on road braking isnt the best either A nice compramise of bfg all terrains or general grabbers will be perfect for the bus Paul whats your opinion on gloss or satin black for the bumpers etc? I think satin black would look the best but be a pain in the ass to clean Gloss would be easier to clean but would it look out of place? Unless youve allready bought the paint then ill have what youve bought pmsl
I was thinking of getting them powder coated... The guy I use does a glossy satin or a matt finish satin like you find on the boot lifter struts... That way they're more durable!!
Well if all the black parts on the bus can be powdercoated satin black then im very happy with that Like you said its a lot more durable than paint
Ive cleaned up the carb mount and unblocked and painted the heatrisers with some black hight temp paint
Hi, the oil filler is not in bad shape at all in the end, needs a good clean though, I will try and detach from the gen stand in due course. Can you pm me your address and I will try and get it to you when I am able. Thanks Ben
I have had some nightmares getting the carbon out ,I poked a bit of metal up and got it stuck ,ended up cutting and re welding them...
Zed swears by a bit of clutch cable in a drill to do it I just didnt have a spare bit of clutch cable so i improvised the best i could Cutting and re welding sounds a bit brutal lol
