Paint Stripping

  1. Got this paint stripper online at http://www.autopaintsbrighton.co.uk/starchem-paint-stripper-5l-2598-p.asp .
Would give it a 8/10 maybe even a 9. It beats all that "Nitromoors" c@@p, there is one tip I can give, on the container it says spread thickly. After spreading i recommend covering with a plastic sheet (I used one of those cheap plastic dust sheets) leave for 1/2 hr to 1 hr then hey presto. Will post some pics once I find my SD card :-[

  2. Thanks for that. Need to bare metal Rusty soon and was wondering what paint stripper's worked well.:)

  3. Not sure I agree with the comment "Nitromors c@@p"
I have always found Nitromors works well where it is intended to be used. I'm sure it says on the tin not suitable for automobile paint :)

  4. Agree with your comment regarding the use of Nitromoors on metal!!!!, however, it is a proven fact that they have removed the active ingredients that actually do remove paint in favour of the "Earth Saving" Enviromentally product. I firmly believe you would remove more paint with Wallpaper Paste as opposed to the "New Nitrmoors". Enough said
