Yes but you'd also need widows which dropped down controlled by a leather strap with holes in. Come to think of it that would be cool in the cab doors wouldn't it?
It would. Though I was thinking just the other day of fitting electric windows, it's one modern feature I really like. And being LHD if I have to pay tolls and such it's a PITA winding down the passenger window then back up again.
They look amazing Bob You are very handy to know, I'm so glad you only live down the road I mean very handy with wood , It's a great skill
I know, winding that window down manually really takes it out if you doesn't it? The only way leccy windows would be useful would be if the driver was silly enough to sit on the wrong side when he's ...........as you were Zed, it's a good idea.
I wish I do indeed....used to have something similar behind the driver in old omnis.... that's another backburner job...bulkhead curtains
I disagree, depending how you look at it you could say @vanorak is a stronger person, not feeling the need to justify owning and improving his camper by using it.
or you could say I'm skint and spent all my money on a garage to keep dry when I work on it.... TBH I did most of the really necessary work a couple of years or so after buying it...had the space and tools at work...the rest has been tinkering in a lean to, until recently
soon hopefully....need to stick the carb back on and then run it up on a locked out dizzy so I can measure the vac signals at different rpms...then take these figures and put them into the map for the megajolt....once in the ball park it'll be a rolling road.... bits and pieces to refit like cabdoors etc.
Engaged? What sort of excuse is that? I'm married and Zed's divorced and we've both got buses on the road. Well mines off the road at the moment but you know what I mean.
