Been working on a friends early this week, replacing the front chassis leg - Y piece, and upon dismantling the brake clutch pedal cross shaft, amongst the expected swearing whilst freeing it off, I think I’ve dropped the woodruff key (or it was never there?) or its attached into the piles of dried grease that are now scattered all over the workshop floor.

Anybody got an idea or a link to what size woodruff key is fitted? Possibly the same as the dynamo pulley??

    Thanks in advance!

Odds being offered of 2/1 that @paradox knows :D

    Close guys, but no cigar!

I removed the shaft completely, and it’s also got another key on the pedal side of the shaft.

For reference if anyone else is searching in the future, the woodruff key is 21x5mm and there’s 1 at each end,

By the way, that’s from a 71 early, but looks the same setup on my 73.

Luckily found it amongst this mess, bus[IMG]
