Hi All I have a very small oil leak, think it may be coming from the push rods. Does anybody know or have used the Wynns engine stop oil leak which you can get. I have heard different reports regarding this, is it worth a try? Cheers Sent from my SM-J510FN using Tapatalk
If they leak there its because whoever assembled the engine Failed to stretch the tubes to the required length Re-used old seals Used sealant Failed to clean the head and block sealing faces. Failed to lightly oil the seals and twist the tubes as they torqued the heads to centre the tube seals. Pick one or several. Dont worry.
If it’s a type 4 engine they leak because whoever assembled the engine · Failed to clean the O-ring grooves in the tubes · Re-used old O-rings · Used sealant on the O-rings · Failed to clean the head and block sealing faces. · Failed to lightly oil the seals I’d rather have a leak than use Wynns engine stop oil leak.
