Not VW: Any teachers looking for a job?

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Traff, Oct 2, 2014.

  1. I don't care what OFSTED have said about my new school in the past, I know the quality of its new leadership and the quality of my colleagues and we will soon be out of Special Measures. The school needed to be put in Special Measures when it happened and huge changes have happened (including recruiting me as a Head of Faculty!).

However, we have hit a plateau in recruitment- and I am in desperate need of two teachers- one to teach French and one to teach English. Because of the nature of the childrens' past experience, I would not recommend a newly qualified or inexperienced teacher to apply, but if any of you know of someone who might be interested, please point them in my direction - or at http://www.tes.co.uk/job/teacher-of-english-brandon-260066/

Please don't be shy in sharing this with your contacts.

  6. Hi - retired as head of physics 11 years ago - but my son was made redundant from his CDT post last term and is looking for another post. - but I think Suffolk is a bit far to travel from Lancashire - good luck in your search for the right applicant.

  8. And I suppose, Ricky, that you also speak fluent Norfolk, so that would help you communicate with the children...
