I think it's one of the ones Scott W in Cornwall brought over from S Africa.
If I had the money back then I think I would have bought it. Now kind of pleased I didn't I kind of don't like it now.

 

I've seen a few of them in Brazil. Something a little different but I prefer a normal Bay.

 

it definitely needs late split / prototype bay rear lights... other than that, i reckon it's pretty cool!

 

I have worked on one it was a nightmare nothing fitted properly

The mix of styles looks great, but, the build quality and rust problems were just the same then as they are now!!!

 

Its a Fleetline, keep well away, a parts bin special, poor quality made up of what was left lying around, it should have the VW badge actualy pressed into the front panel, they did the same with the split screen as well. Very nasty :dizzy:

As a bit of a purist I have to say it makes my brain hurt.

I rather like them. Saw this earlier late bay at the JK open day. Really like those Samba rear windows. Looks kind of mad with a late Westfalia roof.
