A week after Lola passed her MOT we set off for Norfolk, not a camping trip as such as she isn't outfitted for it yet as she's in day van mode....that'll come, so we set off to see my folks up in Wells Next The Sea where Dog lives (and cheers for the message on prototype bay dude 8) ) Saw lots of Fairchild A10's...these awesome machines were dogfighting all over the skys. Kids avin fun in Sheringham. Seals at Blakeney Terns fishing Hippy loving it 8) Deer at Holkham My view sunbathing Lola at Hunstanton Can't beat a Norfolk sunset Cromer.....wasn't my cup of tea, overpriced and really tacky. All in all a fab time was had by all...much better going in Lola than either stuffed into me folks Nissan Almera...or trains. Lola didn't miss a beat and second gear is easier to find now...twas phsycadelic soup stirring to find it, it's amazing how I forgot her quirks after a few years off the road...on goes the restoration.
Don't get me wrong, I've been holidaying in Norfolk since I was a nipper, Cromer seems to have gone downhill over the last few years and prices have rocketed, dressed crabs have almost doubled in price in two years. Guess I just see it from a childs eyes and it isn't what it used to be.
