I have driven a Mini Moke with camper style optional brakes down stuff on Lefkas not as high but high enough. And driven a Ford Fiesta up the south side of the Sierra Nevada in Spain to the snow line along roads where the last 30km was signposted for 4x4 only. Worst bit was driving round a biggish rock that had fallen in the middle of the track so had to go out to the edge. Second worst bit was crossing rough bits where the trick was keeping 3 wheels on the flat and letting the 4th go down a hole(also works in a camper if you do not have an antiroll bar getting in the way). Great fun. Used to enjoy taking hire cars on mountain roads then sitting somewhere and watching other tourists lose their nerve descending hairpins on a cliff face. Good roads on Tenerife for that.

Self examination is extremely important. If they feel 'funny' you need to take them to the doctors for a proper check.
Did something equally stupid in a Renault Rodeo in Zante. You know that wreck in that cove? Only tried to drive down to it!
We had to get towed from the Col de la Forclaz when en route from Martigny to Chamonix. We started off in no snow and then hit it after a few minutes as it was also helpfully dark and most worryingly as we ascended the van temp gauge was going into minus figures! It was in the T4 which was fully laden as we were at the start of 6 months travelling and living in it. The wheels were spinning but we were at least going forward. On the m/bike video below we got as far as the bend on 4:58. Then the van refused to go forwards any more and instead starting spinning sideways Fortunately there was nothing coming and there was an emergency phone and bit of land and we managed to get the van off the road. It was now minus 4! I had decided we were going to hit ice and slide off the mountainside! It cost 400 euros but it was v well spent! The nice man offered to take us to a camp site, we refused politely and said we are frozen and overcoming big stress, please take us to a warm hotel with a bar!!
