I found the new front gear rod bush for my bus kept flopping out after a while, reckoned the hole in the plate had been enlarged by PO and me changing gear without sorting the bush. I wrapped a load of PTFE tape around the recess in the bush as a temp repair..........4 years ago!
Sometimes the quick and dirty fixes just seem to last. I will definitely keep that in mind when fit the new bush though. Cheers for the heads up. Kind regards Andy Sent from my H8216 using Tapatalk
Undo it again, pop it in 2nd by hand & re-tighten. You may have to adjust the plate at the base of the stick
