  1. Hi cunny44, S1mon &lost-en-France.
    Now there's a point - I didn't change flexihoses as they looked good condition and would be easy enough to change at later date if (when!) they deteriorated. We'll have a go at that. My son has also suggested that we could have different brake shoes on the rear (when we changed the back plates the plates were different) so it is possible that the shoe materials are different.!". Otherwise with eveything else new could it be the front shocks? But they look newish.
     
  2. if a flexi has deteriorated internally [someone may have clamped it] it will be harder to push the brake fluid to the caliper ,hence the other one reacting quicker ,later on it might get worse and brake fluid will find it hard to return to the master cylinder and the caliper will seize on...

    Unbalanced brakes will definitely fail the mot..
